‘Fantastic Four’ director Matt Shakman shares post confirming Pedro Pascal will play Reed Richards

Who will join Pedro Pascal in the Fantastic Four lineup? Stay tuned!

It’s official: Pedro Pascal will be Mr. Fantasic, aka Reed Richards. In a post on Fantastic Four director Matt Shakman’s Instagram story, it’s officially locked in that Pascal will play the stretchy genius in the upcoming Fantastic Four film. Likely, SAG-AFTRA revealed the news, and Shakman picked up on it since it was out there.

This news was picked up by every outlet back in November, but now it’s much more conclusive, given the director of the film is sharing the news. It has been rumored Vanessa Kirby will play Sue Storm and Ebon Moss-Bachrach will play Ben Grimm. If we’re getting news on Reed, we’re bound to get the full cast revealed soon.

Along with the news came a new graphic of Pedro Pascal, who isn’t quite stretching but is reaching out.

Check it out below.
